The terms and conditions will serve as a basis of your saving relationship with us, “UMK Savings for future” by choosing to open account with us, you agree with our terms and conditions contained herein, you also confirm that you provide us with accurate and complete information required to create your account and that you supplied all documentation, photographs and information that allow us to comply with our regulatory obligation. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions please do not create account with “UMK Savings for future”, just kindly exit the system. Also, please be informed that we can deactivate or stop your relationship with us if we believe that you have violated any of these terms.

Objectives of the relationship

The objective of establishing and creating a relationship with “UMK Savings for future” is to receive special services offered by “UMK Savings for future” such as:

1. Normal Savings: this will allow you to save your money any time, and receive it back in any time (in less than 24hours).
2. Purchase goods: provided you are registered with “UMK Savings for future” and you have sufficient amount, we will do our own best to deliver the required goods or services with respect to your needs. Such services are listed below:
• Motors (cars, busses, Lorries etc.)
• Clothes (boutique, yards etc.)
• Cosmetics
• Kitchen utilities
• Houses, etc.

When are these terms applicable?

These terms are applicable when you choose to open an account with “UMK Savings for future” and we will automatically activate your account the moment you finish and submit your information to us.

Language and communication

English will be the primary language of our communication to you, but it is free and acceptable to use any other language apart from English language, in order to satisfy our customer’s needs.

Notification

By opening an account with us you can choose to receive an alert or not. If you choose to receive an alert you will be charge for that. Otherwise, no charges for that.

Account protection

To protect your account with us, you need to keep your phone pin safe at all times. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your password and any other secure information. Use strong and unique security details. Do not allow anyone to have access to your details. If you share your details with another person, we cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with account security requirements. And know that, you will be charged a one-time fee of N1000 for opening account.

Closing an Account

We reserve the right to close or suspend your account if:

1. The information we obtain from you does not comply with the regulatory agencies requirements.
2. You do not meet or are in breach of the terms and conditions contained herein.
3. You create risk or possible legal exposure to us.
4. We are required to do by law.
5. We suspect that your account is being used for illegal or criminal activities.
6. There is a report of, or our investigation reveals that you have engaged in, fraudulent or suspicious activity with your account.

Declaration

By agreeing to open an account with “UMK Savings for future”, you understand and agree to abide by the rules and regulation which govern our operations as well as your information are correct and true.
